About the event

The spongy moth populations rose dramatically in 2023, defoliating a record 374,000 acres of forest in Wisconsin. We’ll discuss where the outbreak is occurring, what to expect in 2024 and management advice for landowners.

Michael has worked as a forest health specialist for the Wisconsin DNR since 2010. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Entomology from UW-Madison.
