About the event

Come join BMAP in touring the southern portion of the Lodi Marsh , a cosmopolitan State Natural Area composed of wetland, upland dry forest, savanna, wet prairie, and dry prairies, all within close proximity. The 639 acre marsh serves as important habitat to many wetland birds and invertebrates.  The natural area itself is a great example of how hydrology, topography, and prescribed fire can create highly diverse, patterned communities.  Snacks will be provided at the end!
