Walk with a Naturalist - Rare Earth Farm

Take a midsummer tour of oak savanna and woodland at Rare Earth Farm. Owners Chuck Bauer and Chuck Beckwith have recently established a conservation easement with Driftless Area Land Conservancy. The area was previously grazed and the remnant native plant communities were very degraded, but they showed remarkable recovery once fire was restored to the landscape. See the potential of the land to heal when given the chance with good management practices! Snacks and water will be provided.
